the george eliot shrine
hello. its 3am and im doing kwok's position paper!!!i think its really karma. either its george eliot taking her revenge (since chengchai got food poisoning) or its the fact that ive never actually prepared a kwok pp proper before. and now that its my turn, the tables have turned.
hmph. i wldve been sleeping!
anw since im so screwed already, here's a reminder that if you want any info on the Singapore Arts Festival, please visit our noticeboard, which shouldnt be too much of a distance from your seat ;] yeah zhifeng was saying smthing abt watching Swan Lake!!! do i hear a yes? please say yes its really good! we hafta go watch smthing as a class soon!
meanwhile, the george eliot shrine is up. having considered its blasphemous properties, we've decided that it would be most prudent to just make a small space for george eliot- all her work, memoranda, pictures etc. will be put on display for critical appreciation.
we were thinking vegetarian offerings but then again- blasphemous.
and if anyone says she's ugly again, beware. i dont think the food poisoning is any coincidence. with vegetarian food how contaminated can it get? so yeah. she's watching.

swordfish
hi this blog is really getting rusty except for the occasional tweaks.should we change template to make it easier for photos? (hint)
ANYWAY
i am buckling under the huge pile of stuff we have to do in the coming week looks like its better to have the teachers in school rather than on course - crazy stuff.
and anyway i really dont get PI. why must we do it in the first place? right now i feel its a complete waste of time. please make me change my mind soon.
ok err so let's have a class outing soon. i guess the may day one is on? shall we go watch a movie on the same day?
oh well another hectic week ahead. looking forward to that long weekend. which might not even be enough, given the amount of stuff we're given, and going to be given. -_-

big bad interview
ok. maybe the interview was not so big and not so bad. pretty damn intimidating before ur turn (and we were waiting there for close to 2h, being the overly early fools we are :p), but it wasn't ALL that bad. i shall do everyone a favour and type down my questions before i forget them. oh and the interviewers were hodge, some woman called winnie and a SUPER assholic man whose face i definitely felt like smashing in.1. (the warmer-up) did u study v hard for o levels?
2. isn't it a waste to have put so much effort into math and science and throw it all away now for humans?
3. what do u have to say in response to ppl who think tt humans students are woolly and soft, not as intellectual and all tt?

Update!
Heey ho people! Miracles really happen and i got my bag back! Somehow, the idiot/moron/scumbag/imbecile dumped by bag in BEDOK reservoir area after relieving it of the more valuable contents. Scumbag threw my bag into the back of some lorry and the lorry driver personally drove to my house to return it to me since my IC was still in my wallet. Of course the money isn't in the wallet anymore, neither is my watch, my phone and class funds =(. Mind-bogglingly enough, my uniform is gone too, along with a tennis ball which i kept in my bag. Scumbag takes weird stuff. Anyway this probably means scumbag is a rjc student otherwise why would he want to take my (used) uniform? This is quite upsetting..to know that a rjc student probably did it. Anyway i'm not too upset anymore, in fact i'll quite happy to recover most of my stuff (including silas and othello) and i was really touched by the out-of-the-way gesture of the lorry driver. It's rare to experience such kindess of the human spirit, and it's especially comforting to experience it after everything that happened. Strange, i feel like Silas Marner. huanna ate breakfast @

Terribly Sorry
Heey breakfasters...a thousand million apologies. A low-life stole my bag after school today. I had the classfunds in my bag then, so he made away with it too. There was about 100 dollars worth. It was my fault also because i didn't take care of my bag properly. Sucks to the idiot. He kopped my team-mates' phones (5 in total) and a zen touch too. I hope he falls into a drain as huge as his insatiable greed. Please don't scold me too badly. i didn't mean to lose them and i'm really sorry about it. I'm highly distressed now because i have no i/c which means i am really quite screwed for the interview and my silas and othello are all gone too. AND i have only one set of rjc uniform left because the person took my uniform too. Well, at least he was considerate enough to leave me my homework file so i could not be deprived of the chance to complete them.your hugely ashamed treasurer.

everyone watch!
hey..everyone must go watch ms singapore universe ok! then we can all bitch together muahuaha :D from the advertisements, the contestants this year are just as laughable as any other year's and q&a as usual shld be intensely intellectual :p guys, i suppose, will probably want to watch anyway to see ugly woman parading around in v little cloth; but i'm sure all us girls will appreciate the comic value of the entire programme! laughing lengthens ur lifeline! :D tonight!
on a less interesting note, who has started work on perry's silas marner journal (or even anthology! smack urself!)?! i have absolutely no idea how to begin and the idea tt she might check it anytime makes me v unwilling to continue its nonexistence. let's discuss it together k? :)
oh and congratulations everyone on an april fools' well spent! i think hanyi is quite scared already hahaha...oh well tt's what u get for being a mengnan i guess :p
